About the Role: Senior .NET Developer (Remote)

This position is ideal for an experienced developer ready to take the next step in ownership and leadership. As a Senior .NET Developer, you’ll work remotely with a dynamic tech team to design, build, and maintain business applications and API services.
You’ll be instrumental in driving software architecture, clean coding practices, security, performance tuning, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level backend systems using ASP.NET Core / .NET 6+
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate systems smoothly
- Participate in Agile/Scrum-based development sprints and standups
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure high coding standards
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
- Monitor and debug live systems and resolve production issues
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in .NET development
- Strong command of C#, ASP.NET Core (MVC & Web API)
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
- Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core and LINQ
- Proficiency in SQL Server, stored procedures, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS (for full-stack collaboration)
- Version control experience with Git
- Excellent problem-solving, architecture, and debugging skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture
- Understanding of Message Queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs, payment gateways, etc.
- Knowledge of unit testing with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
