Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing using automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test cases for automation.
• Implement test automation strategies to improve software quality and reduce manual effort.
• Debug test scripts and analyze results to identify defects.
• Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for test execution in pipelines.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Write SQL queries for database testing and validation.
• Document test cases, results, and bug reports using test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• Experience: 0 to 6 months (internships, projects, or self-learning).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright for web testing.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Robot Framework.
• Understanding of API testing and automation.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory):

• Experience with mobile automation testing (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in cloud-based testing (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, LambdaTest).
