Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
• Research and implement cybersecurity best practices for networks and systems.
• Work on firewall configurations, intrusion detection, and security audits.
• Help investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and cyber threats.
• Document and report security findings, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with security teams to enhance data protection and encryption policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (pursuing or completed) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 0 to 6 months of experience (internships or cybersecurity certifications preferred).
• Basic knowledge of network security, firewalls, and encryption techniques.
• Familiarity with ethical hacking, penetration testing, and security protocols.
• Understanding of common cyber threats, malware, and vulnerability exploits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills

• Experience with Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, or similar security tools.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and cloud security.
