About the Role – Data Engineer (Trainee / Entry-Level)
FresherJob.org is hiring Data Engineers for multiple companies. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or aspiring data professionals who want to build a career in big data, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data pipelines, and cloud data engineering.
As a Data Engineer, you will work with large datasets, cloud platforms, databases, and data processing frameworks to ensure efficient data collection, transformation, and storage for analytics and machine learning applications.
Key Responsibilities – Data Engineer Jobs (Remote)
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data.
- Work with ETL tools and frameworks to transform raw data into meaningful formats.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Implement big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka for large-scale data processing.
- Manage and optimize databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Work with cloud data services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to build scalable data architectures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security while handling large datasets.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to provide well-structured and reliable data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 0 to 6 months of experience (internships, projects, or self-learning).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and manipulation.
- Understanding of data modeling, database design, and normalization.
- Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Kafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse) is a plus.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience with Airflow, Luigi, or other workflow orchestration tools.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
