Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing instrumentation systems for industrial applications.
- Work with sensors, actuators, and measurement instruments used in automation and control systems.
- Support the calibration, installation, and maintenance of process control equipment.
- Analyze system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues in instrumentation systems.
- Develop and optimize control algorithms for industrial automation.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 to 6 months of experience (Internships in instrumentation, process control, or automation preferred).
- Basic knowledge of sensors, transducers, and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, MATLAB, or C for automation and data acquisition.
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills
- Experience with industrial automation tools like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Honeywell systems.
- Knowledge of PID controllers, loop tuning, and control strategies.
- Exposure to IoT-based instrumentation and real-time monitoring systems.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance in industrial settings.
