Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and software installations.
• Respond to IT service requests via email, chat, or phone and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and user guides.
• Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve critical issues.
• Ensure data security, backups, and recovery procedures are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or final-year students).
• Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple support requests.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory):

• Experience with helpdesk tools (JIRA, Zendesk, Freshdesk, ServiceNow, etc.).
• Understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based IT services.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and endpoint protection.
• Exposure to remote desktop support and virtualization tools.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (not required but a plus).
