As a Junior Data Engineer, you will work with data pipelines, databases, and ETL processes to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Work with SQL, Python, and ETL tools to process and clean large datasets.
• Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
• Support data warehousing and cloud-based storage solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data infrastructure.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
• Work with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and AWS/GCP/Azure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
• 0 to 6 months of experience (internships in data engineering or database management preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling.
• Basic knowledge of ETL processes, cloud platforms, and database management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills

• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with AWS (S3, Redshift), Google Cloud (BigQuery), or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
