Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes.
• Create and modify WordPress plugins and widgets as needed.
• Ensure website performance optimization, SEO, and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues.
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to enhance website functionality.
• Manage website hosting, domain configurations, and database backups.
• Ensure websites are responsive and mobile-friendly.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.).
• Collaborate with designers and content teams for UI/UX improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or final-year students).
• Experience: 0 to 6 months in WordPress development (internships, projects, or self-learning).
• Proficiency in WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or other page builders.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, website speed optimization, and security measures.
• Experience with cPanel, FTP, and website hosting environments.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory):

• Experience with WooCommerce and WordPress e-commerce development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and WordPress Hooks & Filters.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
• Experience with WordPress Multisite and multilingual plugins (WPML, Polylang).
• Certifications in WordPress development, SEO, or web design (a plus).
