As a Helpdesk Executive, you will assist customers by resolving technical issues, answering queries, and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues.
- Guide users through problem-solving steps to resolve technical difficulties.
- Log and track customer issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Maintain documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0 to 6 months of experience (Internships in IT support or customer service preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote support tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems like Zendesk, Freshdesk, or ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and customer support best practices.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking concepts.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
